The Henry Group develops cutting-edge lab-on-a-chip technologies, to study environmental and biological phenomena. Current research projects include the development of paper- and polymer-based microfluidic systems, for the colorimetric and electrochemical quantification of biologically- and environmentally-relevant analytes (e.g. bacteria, neurotransmitters, heavy metals, etc.). Major techniques used include microfabrication, chromatography, electrochemistry, electrophoresis, microscopy, and 3D printing. See our Publications page for what we’ve been working on recently!
