Congratulations to our biomedical engineering senior design team who tied for first at CSU’s E-Days! Every year, the College of Engineering hosts Engineering Days, or E-Days, to showcase the senior design projects that CSU seniors complete their last year before graduation. This is the third year that the Henry Group has hosted a group of biomedical engineering seniors who work closely with graduate students to help further one of our many projects. This year’s seniors developed a solar-powered gear system to fully automate one of our complex biological assays for bacteria detection at the push of a button. The system also automatically analyzes the assay results using a Raspberry Pi program to capture and analyze a photo based on color intensity.
Congratulations, team!
