We are very grateful to be joined this fall by Mark Nussbaum, who is the chair and Professor of Chemistry at Hillsdale College, Michigan. Mark is with us on sabbatical and will be working on paper-based analytical devices.

The Henry Group has moved out of the basement of the main chemistry building to the 4th floor of the brand new Chemistry Research building here at CSU! Our new lab space will continue to have a separate Fab Room for authorized users. The future is looking bright in our new lab!

Chase has returned from a successful placement with Eric Bakker at the University of Geneva / Switzerland, where he worked on distance based colorimetric tests for alkaline metals.

PI Chuck Henry presented at the Microfluidics Gordon Conference held in Lucca (Barga), Italy on June 4-9 where he was elected Co-Vice Chair for the next Microfluidics meeting!

Chuck, Shirley, and Kevin gave oral presentations at the Electrochemical Society Meeting in New Orleans from May 28-June 1!
